This 2-day intensive introduces Plastiques: a precise physical vocabulary that helps performers refine awareness, release habitual patterns, and reconnect with the body’s intuitive intelligence. Through guided movement and voice work with David Prete, participants explore isolation, flow, breath, and presence—building toward a deeper, more responsive relationship to impulse.

Advanced Training in Voice and Physical Listening
Building on First Impulse, this workshop deepens the Plastiques practice through flow-based movement, voice integration, and partner work. Participants refine physical listening, develop longer phrases, and explore how impulse, rhythm, and relational presence shape expressive action.

Teaching through the Body: Plastiques for Educators
October 11-12, 2025, Chicago

Continuing Education for High School and University Instructors
This professional development workshop introduces educators to the Plastiques method and provides practical tools for adapting it across classrooms and age groups. Participants will explore movement, voice, and impulse-led learning while gaining strategies for guiding others through embodied, detail-based work.
